Earth's Best

Every mother wants what is best for her children. I do too. Since I got pregnant with my second I contemplated the idea of breastfeeding full term (that didn't work out), delaying solids until 6+ months (I started my oldest at 4 months), and feeding him organic jarred baby food if I didn't choose to make my own.

Recently, and by recently I mean about 2 weeks ago just before baby boy turned 6 months old I started him on solids. I was buying the brand everyone in my family has always trusted. However, when I tasted it before feeding it to him at one point the flavor was off. Acidic even. He spit it out and fussed. At any other given moment I would have brushed it off as "oh its baby food its not supposed to taste great", but I wasn't going to settle.

We had already decided to begin changing our eating habits and the way we cooked our foods (the next step is replacing butter and vegetable oil with cococut oil). Anywho, on my next trip to the grocery store I decided to stop by their "tiny" organic section and I stumbled upon Earth's Best jarred baby food. I always see it around. I work at Toys R Us and moms are always buying their stuff. Here I am thinking all along that this costs an arm and a leg and they were only $.69 a jar. I bought 6, 3 fruits and 3 veggies to try.

Off the bat I loved it. It doesn't have a strong smell or acidic taste. It actually tastes like I'm eating whatever the jar says. Baby boy I noticed does not fuss when he's having it except because he wants more and does not spit it out. He enjoys his "foodie" now.

If I was asked to rate the product I'd give it a 4/5 only because I have such a hard time finding varieties for his age group. Otherwise, I am 100% satisfied and will continue to buy these products.

Good night y'all!
